Today it's four weeks since I gave up smoking.

Go me.

If only it was so easy to give up food.

Edit: Oh and I changed my ticker back. I really need to remember how far i've come.
Now i'm going to create a second mini-goal ticker for myself and that may remind me how far I have to go, but in tiny blocks. Who can't beat a tiny block?

Way to go on quitting smoking! Woohooo. It must be hard. Unfortunatly, we can't quit food cold turkey. Maybe they will come up with a pill you can eat in the future like Willy Wonka. ha.

Fan-bloody-tastic, you stuck to your guns! You can give up ciggies and not die, you can't give up food and expect to live! BUGGER! Keep trying, it will happen, if you are on a plateau, you need to change what you are doing, either stop having a big meal at the end of the day, have it a midday, or increase your exercise, drink more bloody water, anything that will shock your body into losing again. I even changed everything I was eating, I stopped having the same old stuff, and that helps too.

Well done Bri - I think the first four weeks are probably the worst and you've survived that really well. Sky's the limit now! And give yourself a very loud cheer and pat on the back - losing almost 20kg and stopping smoking are pretty awesome achievements.

Briony: Surimi is fish flakes and a few other random ingredients, pressed into a block and flaovoured and coloured to look and taste like crabmeat. It is delicious! I could eat it every day, and I often add shrimps to my salad too. Sooooo yum.

Hey, ONE HUGE challenge at a time! And if we could give up food - wouldn't that be great? No!
Anyway I'm glad you've put your ticker back - you mightn'y be where you want to be, but you are quite rightly proud of how far you've come :)
