Reasons to lose weight

Reasons to lose weight:

  1. To be healthier
  2. To be fitter
  3. To sweat less (or more if i'm exercising!!)
  4. To be a good role model for my child
  5. To be able to buy size 12 clothes all the time, not just the stretchy ones where I fool myself i'm a size 12
  6. To be able to buy nice underwear (that doesn't roll down under my muffin top tummy when I bend over or sit down)
  7. To look good
  8. To be more confident

That will do for starters. What are your reasons?

It's great to have a defined list of what you want and why. Initially it was about being skinnier for me I guess but then as the journey progressed, I just wanted to be fit, healthy and happy. I think I am now too. Definitely don't want to go back because I *do* stuff now :-)

Ha ha... you know you have hit the nail on the head..specially the bit about the size 12's... but hey...I have the problem where my undies go up my bum on one side..arghhhhh what is it with that...Must have one cheek bigger than the other..haha...

I can't think of anything... maybe I don't want to lose weight!!! Egad. Although being thinner than my sisters is a big motivator :)

Some more reasons to lose wt:
1.To not have to buy fat clothes anymore (plus sizes, getting close)
2. To feel better about the way I look, more confident
3. To keep up with my son
4. To not let my size hold me back from living life to the fullest
5. To not wear a t shirt over the swimsuit at the beach
6. To be able to do a sprint triathalon
7. To never have to go back to chairs, movie chairs, airline seats starting to get tight (they are not now, thank god!)
8. When trying something new or old, to not think "is there a weight limit for this". Such as: horseback riding, sky diving, etc.
There are so many sometime I will do a post all on it!
