Goals

Quick goals for this week (i'm not doing very well so I am going to keep it simple).

1. Give up smoking TODAY (Patches ready to go)
2. No alcohol on school nights, minimal on weekends, try sticking to soda water or diet drinks
3. Try to eat properly

# 1 and 2 are MUCH more important than # 3 this week, then i'll tackle the food issues next week.

I still have lot of crap going on in my life but ignoring my blog isn't really working for me. I have a lot of stuff in my head that needs to be written down. I've created a password blog for that other parlaver and i'll try and stick to weight loss issues here.

Hi Bri,

Good luck with the stopping smoking - I stopped almost 17 years ago - best decision I ever made - try some good strong coffee - gives you a bit of a hit when you need it - also cut up things like carrot and celery to nibble - you may find you're holding it like a ciggy! but that's OK. Re the alcohol - it's another one of those head things - you have to decide it's not going to happen then you're right. My trouble is a glass just doesn't do it for me then the next stop is a bottle! Hope the crap improves soon

Gunna give out the new blog/password? Shit, giving up smoking is a BIGGIE, good luck! I gave up every time I was pregnant and started again the minute the baby was born, but after No.6 I just couldn't get back into it, it was YUK! Good for the cash flow though. So, good luck on that one, it's probably the hardest thing you will ever do.

Way to go on trying to stop smoking, that's great and your other goals too. I'm glad you didn't stop blogging. Sometimes w/ my lack of progress lately I don't want to post but I like keeping in touch with everyone and getting out some frustrations on the blog.
